1. Data we process
When you create an account, Magnetfolio processes your email address, collector name, email-verification status and a Firebase user identifier. We also process your collected magnets, Gift Collection, reward progress, currency preference and cloud-sync timestamps.
2. Gift Vault data
Gift invitations include the sender's collector name, magnet details, a secure random link token, invitation status and expiry date. The recipient's user identifier and collector name are added when a gift is claimed. Email addresses are not stored in gift records.
3. Location and notifications
Location access and notifications are optional and requested only after you enable them in Settings. The current version does not store precise location coordinates in your Magnetfolio cloud profile. Your preference is stored on your device.
4. Why we use data
We use this information to authenticate accounts, synchronize and recover collections, prevent duplicate reward or gift claims, display your World Passport, provide support and protect the service from misuse.
5. Storage and service providers
Account and cloud data are stored using Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Some preferences and collection state are also stored locally in your browser or application so that Magnetfolio can operate correctly on your device.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared with service providers only as needed to operate Magnetfolio or when required by law. Collection images are shared with social networks only when you choose a share or download action.
7. Retention and deletion
Cloud collection data is kept while your account remains active. Pending gift invitations normally expire after 30 days. You may delete your account and cloud data in Settings or request help by email. Received-gift records are anonymized when the recipient account is deleted.
8. Your choices and rights
You can download or restore a collection backup, update your collector name, disable optional permissions and delete your account. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or export personal data and to complain to a data-protection authority.
9. Security
Magnetfolio uses authenticated Firebase access rules, secure random gift tokens and account-level data separation. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your password private and verify unexpected account activity.
