Delete from the app
If you can access your account, open Magnetfolio Settings and use Delete account. After a recent sign-in and confirmation, the server accepts a durable deletion request. Your account access is disabled and cloud cleanup begins.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email contact@magnetfolio.com with the subject "Delete my Magnetfolio account". Send the request from the email address connected to your Magnetfolio account.
What data is deleted
Account deletion is intended to remove your Magnetfolio account profile, Firebase account identifier, cloud collection data, saved collector settings, reward progress, and active account-linked gift records where technically applicable.
What may be retained
Some limited records may be retained when required for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or platform billing records. Received-gift records may be anonymized so they are no longer linked to your account.
How long it takes
Deletion requests are reviewed and processed as soon as practical. Small in-app requests can complete immediately. Larger requests or temporary service failures are retried automatically. Email requests require owner verification and should be completed within 30 days after verification.
Local device data
After the server accepts an in-app deletion request, account-linked collection, rewards and profile data are cleared from that device and you are signed out. Exported files and data on other devices are not removed automatically. If the server cannot accept the request, local data is preserved.
